Packaging

All orders are shipped in padded envelopes or boxes adapted to the size and weight of the products.

Exports – Customs Duties & Taxes

For deliveries outside the European Union and to French overseas territories (DOM-TOM), customs duties, local VAT, import taxes, or other charges may apply in accordance with the tax and customs regulations of the destination country.

These duties and taxes:

  • are entirely the responsibility of the recipient,

  • are mandatory governmental charges,

  • must be paid directly to the carrier, who then transfers them to the relevant authorities.

Weddink Seals cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for paying these taxes on behalf of the customer.

⚠️ In the event of refusal to pay customs charges or refusal of the parcel by the customer, the duties and taxes remain fully payable.

If the carrier invoices unpaid customs charges to us, the corresponding amounts (including any penalties and administrative fees) will be deducted from any refund due for the returned merchandise.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Mainland France

Orders are generally shipped via tracked letter or Colissimo to ensure speed, security, and traceability.
Chronopost or a courier service in the Paris region may be used upon customer request.
Estimated delivery time announced by La Poste is 48 to 72 business hours.

French Overseas Territories (DOM-TOM)

Shipments are sent via tracked letter, Colissimo Outre-Mer, or Chronopost.

Europe

Shipments are sent via Colissimo Europe or international tracked letter.

International

Shipments are sent via Colissimo International or international tracked letter.


Order Preparation

Orders are manufactured and prepared within 1 to 5 business days.
During peak periods, preparation times may be extended.

Shipping times are additional to preparation time and depend on the delivery method selected by the customer.

Delivery times provided by carriers are estimates only and expressed in business days. They reflect average observed transit times and may vary depending on destination.

Customers are strongly advised to provide a complete and accurate physical delivery address accessible during business hours.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided:

  • neither WEDDINK SEALS nor the carrier can be held liable,

  • all reshipping costs will be at the customer’s expense,

  • lost goods may be reinvoiced.

  • No compensation may be claimed from Weddink Seals for delivery delays attributable to the carrier.

In the event of a delay concerning a tracked parcel:

  • the customer must contact us by email,

  • an investigation will be initiated with the carrier,

  • if the parcel is not declared delivered within 30 days, a replacement shipment will be issued.

Any duplicate parcel received must be returned.

Once the carrier marks the parcel as “delivered,” the order file is considered closed and no refund or compensation may be claimed.

Receipt of Goods

A shipping confirmation email including the tracking number is sent to the customer.
It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the shipment tracking.

If a parcel is received damaged and/or opened:

  • an immediate damage report must be filed with the carrier,

  • the customer must contact us promptly.

Without a timely claim, no replacement can be issued.

If a parcel is returned to us marked “unclaimed,” “refused,” or “undeliverable”:

  • the customer will be contacted,

  • in the absence of a response, the merchandise may be destroyed,

  • the sales contract will be considered fulfilled.

Once the carrier’s tracking system confirms delivery, the order is considered completed and the case closed.
